The fee is $93.50 and paid to the courthouse
Certified copies will be $7.50

Out of State residents can be married the same day license is applied for
NO waiting period!
FL Residents have a 3 day waiting period
For those who can come to Florida ahead of time
the license is valid for 60 days
If either of you have been divorced within the past 6 months- you must bring a copy of your divorce decree. If it has been more than 6 months- you will be asked where the County/ State and date the divorce was finalized.

The Florida Marriage License office will be closed on the following 2008 dates:

Monday, October 13th
Tuesday, November 11th
Thursday & Friday, November 27th & 28th

Or if you wish to take care of it early:
(you will need to use this service if you will not be in town in time to get a Florida marriage license
or the courthouse would be close the day you arrive, ect.)
If you are not a US citizen, you will need an Apostille.
Enchanted Beach Weddings will hand deliver your license back to the courthouse (Shalimar only) or mail the following business day and the courthouse will MAIL your certified copy in a one to two week time frame....if you require your certified copy right away and will be in town on the next business day, we suggest that you take the license back and they will process it for you to take back home immediately for name changes, insurance needs, ect.
